OEM keyless entry programming/removal.
Hey everyone, so i have a MY02 and im just wondering if there is a way to deprogram a key fob? My keyless entry stopped working so i programmed my friends to see if its just the fob, and it is. but now his key fob is programmed to my s2k AND his. so now he is able to open my and his car and its annoying me. is there a way to deprogram a fob?
or better yet, is there a diy for removing the keyless entry? im getting a new one installed this thursday but i just want to rip out the whole factory keyless entry. i unplugged the control unit under my drivers seat but for some reason, it still is able to open with the key fob.
please help. ive tried searching the forums but with no avail.
thanks

The keyless control unit is under the driver's dash near the fusebox, which is what you'd need to unplug to disable
keyless entry. You probably disconnected the OEM accessory alarm's control unit which is normally under the driver's seat.
There are two types of fobs - the original one which operates the keyless control unit directly, and the alarm
one which operates the alarm unit which in turn sends a lock/unlock command to the keyless unit via wire.
According to the manual, the keyless unit can store up to three fobs in it, after which it deletes them oldest first.
It's not clear if you can trick it by storing the same one multiple times, but there isn't any other method in the
manual for deleting fobs.

The fob is just like a key - it doesn't change. The controller in the car is programmed to accept up to
three different fobs. In other words, his friend's fob isn't programmed for his car, rather his car is
programmed to accept his friend's fob.
