hey guys,

In my troubleshooting to get wideband to work i reset radio... and as its a used vehicle it has nothing in the way of books etc...

can someone help a brother out and get me the code so i can listen to my tunes on the way to work

All you have to do is go to the dealer. You can show them the registration, which has the VIN on it and they will pull you the code.

its just that i am really busy with work and wouldnt be able to make it to a dealer for a week or two, and wouldnt have music in the interim... Can anyone please help me!

I don't think anyone but the dealer has the codes. Plus, I doubt anyone would want to give it up without being able to verify you are the actual owner of the car/radio. If the codes were that easy to get, they would have no effect as a deterent to theft.

true true, to be honest though, i couldnt see anyone wanting this stereo... its soooo bad....

i just don't have the time in the next week or two to go to the dealer! Thanks for the insight!

lol, I might have some tapes you can borrow to go with it.

Actually if you want, you can borrow my oem headunit till you can get over the dealer. Just gotta make sure i have the code for it.

WITH THE RADIO OFF PUSH THE 1 AND 6 BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME AND THEN WHILE HOLDING TURN THE RADIO ON AND 2 CODES WILL COME ON SCREEN CALL THE DEALER PARTS DEPARTMENT WITH THESE CODES AND THEY WILL GIVE THE CODE TO YOU.
