Default OEM Radio Code Help

Just had a quick question on where the code is. I just bought my MY01 s2000 about 2 weeks ago and i have the stock radio but not sure where the code for it is. Is the code ever directly on the radio (there's a model NO., ref NO., and Serial NO.).

If you take your vehicle to the dealer they will probably provide you the code on the spot at no cost.

34533.......just a long shot cuz when I went to the dealer with my buddy with an S to get the code for his they read him the number and I was like.......that sounds like my code,....then they said all s2000s have the same code. Hard to believe but try it out. Works on both of ours

The code is an anti theft feature (though I don't know why anyone would want to steal the stock radio). Therefore...

IIRC there are also instructions for retrieving the code via Owner Link.

Check for a sticker inside the glove box. Mine had it in there when I bought it used. Not sure if it was something the owner did or not...otherwise, follow the instructions from the Ownerlink site or as noted in the above post.

Hi,

When I bought my s2k 6 years ago I needed the code after winter storage. Call honda and the code they gave me did not work. I found out if you pull the OEM radio out (very easy no need to disconnect wires) you will see the Radio code on the back. It's a small white label and I believe on the left hand side if you are facing towards the front of the car while inside.

Call a random Honda dealer with the serial number and they'll give you the code over the phone. The first dealer I called wouldn't give it to me but the second one I tried did no problem.
