After picking up my S a few weeks ago I was playing with all the buttons. After scrolling through the trip. I came across "OIL LIFE%". is this an accurate reading for when I should change my oil. If so, what percent should I change it at or, should I just stick with the ~3,000 mile mark? Info is appreciated

It's all up to you to determine. The maintenance minder mostly relies on mileage. I use 5K intervals. If you really want to know what intervals to use then get UOA's performed on your oil.
