do you ocassionally hope right into the C5 right after you drive the s2k to see how big of a difference there is?
and pros/cons of each car?
I plan to use the 'vette as my daily driver in all but the worst months of the year. I still use the S as my weekend fun car.
I just got the 'vette in October and was driving it every day for about two weeks. Then I was going to an S2000 meet and took the S. I basically ran a red light because I thought I could make it (and couldn't) then thought I could stop (and couldn't.)
Then on the way home, I took a turn too fast and brought the end out (on cold tires.)
I found myself WAY overdriving the S, and being VERY lazy about downshifting to get into the power.
Now, that said: When I went to that meet, I had not driven the S in about 3 weeks. I got in and pulled out of the garage. I had a grin on my face from ear to ear by the end of the driveway.
When I first got the Z06, half of my 2 car garage was taken up with junk that I was selling, there was only room for one car in the garage for a couple of weeks. The S2000 got the garage.
If a friend wants to drive the Z06, I let them. I never let anyone drive the S2000.
I can't describe it. The Z06 cost more money, and it is a LOT faster. It's VERY fun to drive, and very satisfying. However, I LOVE the S2000 way more. I will never give up my S2000, but the Z06 is just a car to me.

Well, I'm new around here and a friend of John(Darkknight).
I don't own an S2k yet so I spend most of my time following John around and trying to sneak the keys from him.
So, just to go along with the thread, here is a pic of me on my current mount the day my wife bought it for me. (Best surprise EVER)

Ha! I'm in disguise!
Now all you know about me is that I'm big enough to make a Bandit 1200 look normal sized.
