Default OK to run 4-AWG down passenger side? EDIT: PICS!

I have my RCAs/AI-NET/speaker wire run through the center console. I was thinking it would be a lot easier to run the power cable down the right side. I don't really like the idea of having to run it across the firewall and there is a gromet right by the battery. Is there anything I should be worried about when doing this? I did it the exact same way in my Integra...

thanks.

EDIT: RESULTS!!!

Notice I used the lower grommet and not the top one.

Showin some leg for my fans!

That should be fine! I did mine exactly the same!
I removed the carpet from the center console and ran it along the transmission tunnel. Then the power cable along the door line..

Cool, thanks.

I've got to stop drinking and posting though!

I meant to post this in the Electronics forum!

Mods, please move this to electronics.

That is exactly how I ran mine, and I have no interference.

If you put the amp where the spare goes, You might get by with 7 ft. 3 meters should do the trick otherwise(unless you are using the bottom well).

running RCA's down the driver side wasn't a problem for me. The ECM module and all the other Molex connectors under the kick panel really had no effect on signal noise, or alternator whines that some have complained about.

I think you would pick up more crap running the + cable behind the engine and firewall since you are somewhat close to the spark plugs and ignition coils
