Hey guys.

Previous owner installed a new head unit that doesn't have BT in it (???) and the controls on the left do not work at all with the unit head installed.

What are my options for a receiver that works with the controls and supports a AMP + Sub in the trunk?

 

In my opinion, you need to replace your head unit and get an interface that supports dash controls. My recommendation based upon my recent upgrade is the Sony DSX-GS80 and Modfry DCI. I did not add a sub, but you could do so with this unit allegedly without extra amp. But you could also add an amp to do so.

Get the harness from modify as well, it all simply works. Even the nice speed variable volume control.

 

I just switch to Alpine ILX-W650 head unit so I now have an extra Alpine UTE-73BT if you need it. I can let it go for cheap.
