Default Pac-X Audio Harness

I had a new deck installed, and I also have this piece to maintain function of the side audio controls. However, I lost the instruction/program guide, and I was wondering if there was one online. I don't know much about it, whether it's universal or specific, but any help would be great. It's currently installed, but Magnolia Hi-Fi (highly recommend) could not set the controls to work. TIA!

They are universal. See http://www.pac-audio.com/instructions/instructions.htm for the installation and configuration instructions.

i don't like the Pac SWI-X. it is a pain to install and has a delay.

I recommend the Modifry DCI. It is small, and easy to install.

I do not like the PAC module either, the MODIFRY DCI is close to the same price and gives you more features and no lag time when pushing buttons. Also it comes ready to go for most models of Cd players. If Magnolia did not know how to program it or know how to get the instructions then that should tell you something about their install dept. If it were me I would return the PAC and order the Modifry DCI>

Here is a link for Lucid Automotives website that graciously explains how to connect and program the SWI-X from PAC. Good Luck

Same here. I had the pac swix before and threw it away and got the DCI. A million times better and I don't have to fool with making relays and crap for the mute button to work.

If it wasn't included when I bought the deck used, I would get the other piece. I might upgrade in the future.
And my friend at Magnolia was doing it, not just their "installataion dept".
