Phil, please take notes for the ODYSSEY
Van =
just intermittently reading this is going to keep me busy all morning and during lunch! let me take some notes...
- 3 inch thick plexi!
- look at those bolts!
- 1.5" concrete in the enclosure walls?!
- 150 gallons of resin and sand?
- 1000 lbs / door! i hope they replaced the OEM hinges.
- 70 12 V batteries!
- JBL 6000GTi oh my!
8110 Watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms CEA certified! that's probably touching a peak 16,220 W!! / AMP! and he's got 8 of them inside! that's approximately 130 kWatts peak!!!!
- "Also notice the cables used to help keep that 3" thick window from moving over an INCH at full volumes. The cables run clear back and are secured to the 12" thick cement wall at the back of the box."
- 3 Ohio Gen Alts
- 1/0 speaker wire!
geez... i'm starting to just lose track....

sweet post. not something i'd do, but awesome to see someone else do it...
and the dual 5 gallon bucket install??
i've seen stuff like that before... in fact, i've heard that they can make pretty good enclosures...

we should start a thread: Pics of the worst installs ever!
