Pic's of my homemade box.
Mind you this is my first atempt at making a box and doing any difficult wiring. I ran my own 14 gauge into the doors and through the car, installed my door speakers/crossovers/amps. I had some help with the power wire, why am I babbling, well you guys walked me through a whole bunch of stuff I had no clue that I could learn. And well I did it, And the car starts and runs and all the windows go down and up. I had the thing in so many peice's my parents were taking bets as to if I could get it all back together and not be missing any peices or havew any left over.
Any way here are the pictures a few of you guys wanted. Any way I have not measured the volume yet but I will have a estimate tommorow after I check again for leaks. I have two 8W0's in the box now as my 8w3's are two powerful to run with the 160a2's that I got at this time. My PPI amp is sitting somewhere I don;t have a clue when I will get it.
You can see the whole 4 gauge wire box as well as a few of the other little details. I still got to find carpet that matchs the back and sand down the top and mount the wires and find a way to mount the amps correctly and with athority. Still got to find a whole buch of 8 gauge to keep everything in line. Well enough rambling pictures time.
I kept them in my gallery for safe keeping and will update this post when it gets all finished.

With this I get most of my trunk back and I get to keep my spare and the tools fit inside the spare which are wrapped with leather so they don't rattle.
So far this thing hits real real hard. So hard I had to turn down the gain a bit so I am running around 45% with a little bass boost. with the RSd it really completes the whole sound stage.
I will post pictures of the dynomat that I hide throughout the car when I get off my lazy butt and upload them, I have a solution to keep the rear deck from rattling that's cheap and you get to keep your stock looking outside.
I am still having trouble mounting the amps in a way that I fell comfortable and that has a nice solid feel to. So far I have kept with my mission to keep the whole car stock from the outside and this gets me my trunk back as I can now toss my dualbandpass or give it to my sister for her beetle. (what I designed it for.)
