ANyone install this to their Pioneer HU? I have it install but the HU does not pick up (detected) any signal. what did I do wrong???

 

what model of headunit do you have?

 

PIONEER DEH-P880PRS, I turn on the AUX 1, 2 but still no detection

 

does your ipod have the latest software?

double check all the lines, make sure the pins aren't bent (when plugged into radio) and reset the ipod, and radio

 

hum, Line positive to Yellow +, and negative Black - to ground , wire are correct. 80 gb video latest version of Ipod, How do I reset Ipod version 5.0/5.5

 

Ipod reset, HU reseted and AUX1,2 also on but no detection Helpp, I'm oulling my hair out.

 

I have the same combo...

Does the head unit show ipod when you cycle using the function button (pushing the left button on HU) but you can't hear any sound?

Or does just do nothing? When you cycle through functions do Aux 1 and Aux 2 show up since you have them enabled?

If you can see Ipod displayed but not hear anything, make sure that the blue end of the IPbus cable is plugged into the HU (a blue female connector) and the black end is plugged into the IB100 (a black female connector). If you mess up and put blue into a black connector, everything will appear to work but you won't get any sound.

Everything hooking up right I tested the yellow power line next to the fuse on the IB100II it has power. Turn off HU to initial set up, turn on AUX 1, 2 but no sound nothing appears or detect. Which AUX does the IPOD appears on your? . You Meean the SRC= source button, it goes from Tuner to CD to AUX1, AUX2 that's All I see.

 

it doesn't show up as an AUX, it comes up IPOD

is it possible you have the output cable, plugged into the input?

 

mine comes up as "I-Pod" as well, not AUX
