PnP flasher relay to fix hyper flash?
#11
I installed one hoping to fix the hyperblink issue as the integraded hyperblink fix bulbs from j2sk did not work, and I unfortunately still have hyperblink even with the integraded hyperblink bulbs on top of the EP-34.
I think I'm going to have to get LED load resistors like THESE, but I really don't want to go this route if I don't have to.

I've just done this upgrade myself for my UK facelift 2004 MY and had previously bought the CF15-JL02 LED relay in advance of actually swapping the LED bulbs in. Just in case I needed it. This is a nice small one which fits the fuse box perfectly.
What I found was that the HAZARDS all flashed normally with the new LED bulbs in the turn signals, but each turn signal on its own hyper-flashed. Thanks to this guide above I was able to swap out the relay with 2 small drivers simultaneously un-clipping the tabs and it pulled right out. The new relay doesnt have tabs so no issues in the future. I have a spare LED relay in case it fails.
The CF15-JL02 LED relay has fixed my hyper-flashing, and the relay still has a click like stock.
I have a hybrid of LED indicators, leds in the rear and stock in the front and sides.
Hope this will help someone.

Have still been rolling with hyperblink and after seeing these replies I decided to give it another go since all reports seem to indicate the EP-34 works.
I pulled the EP-34 out (it's not hard really, just jam a flathead on each side and pull the relay out. Took me 15 seconds), went to the parts store and purchased another EP-34. My hope was maybe I just had a faulty one, and low and behold, hyperblink is no more.
In short, if buying the hyperblink LED fix bulbs from JS2K, that does not actually stop hyperblink and you will need to swap out the relay with an EP-34, which does indeed fix hyperblink.
