Default Polk/Momo subs any good?

The Polk Momo subs look really nice but I'm wondering if anyone knows if they are good for SQ?

Thanks.

They are ok at best...nothing special. Not worth the money.

Dude, Ive been talking to you for a while now, So I kinda get what you are looking for.

Get yourself a Tarantula 10" sub, for 189 from Etronics, and if you are unhappy, Ill buy it back from you.

You mean inside the well?????Or on top.....

Honestly, I would do 1 good 10". A tarantula 10 is 900wrms...that can be pushed to about 1100.

900wrms is a SH!TLOAD of power. You would be able to hear your car 3 blocks away. Also remember amps. If you got good 10"s, you would need an amp the size of your trunk to power them. 1 Tarantula with a great amp is all the bass youll ever need. I guarantee it.

Well, that sucked. I made an appointment to meet with one of the guys there, drive out there, and they closed early.

Can you recommend anyplace else?

Thats really weird.......theyd never do something like that. Something must have happened. I honestly cannot recommend anyone other than
them (if you plan on paying) and myself, if you want it done for free.

As a learning experiemce I am going to build my own. If it doesn't work out I'll have a pro do it but to start I'm going to Home Depot tonight to have them cut me some MDF to the spec in the electronics FAQ. I'm going with the middle box.
