Powering lights/fan in trunk

Default Powering lights/fan in trunk

Hey guys, I am installing my sub and want to light up the trunk with some neons...my question is where do I run the power from and does anyone have any pics of the install. I also want to put a small fan to cool the amp Soundstream VGA500x4, same powering question there. thanks for you help

find the trunk light and wire it into that circuit.

If you're installing a sub then I'm guessing there is an amp somewhere (either in trunk or in the cavity above the fuel tank) with power running to it. You could tap this supply as the lights and fan won't draw much.

You want the fan to be switch by the same trigger that turns on the amp. The lights should be switched by the boot light.

If you don't know how a relay works then stop now and get someone with basic car electronics experience to help you.
