My driver's side headlight recently went out, (went through two hurricanes) and water got in the drivers side. I wanted to see if there was a way to test if the ballast etc . was still working so I could know whether I just need a new headlight or if I just need new bulbs, I don't want to pay 150 bucks for bulbs if I just need a new drivers side assembly anyways.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

The recommended way to test this (Helm manual) is to switch ballasts (or bulbs).
