Only way around it is to cut the dash, or most people would custom mount it up higher in the dash though I'd go with a double din or gps style one instead of a flip-out if you go this route.

I am planning on running the JVC 3.5 for the single din and connecting 2 - 7 or 8" monitors in the visor locations. Im too tall and can't see red lights or the sun anyway. The visors for me just block the road hehehe making me use my jedi senses to drive.

that is another option that you can do if opposed to cutting the dash. when I do it I will put up a DIY so everyone can see it. Im going for a stealth look so it looks as though my car is stock from the outside but I may run into screen angle issues and the looking stock part.

oh well lol

engineer has a motorized one that drops from the vent above the radio door release. By the looks of it, and his write-up it was not easy to do at all

FYI...If you're planning on running the JVC with the Nav also the Nav function does not project through the video out cable. All you'll get is DVD functions on those screens....and yes...I've verified this on the JVC website and tech support. SUCKS as that was my next purchase and I wanted the Nav output to a second screen.

Also... you need to double check your screen sizes for the visors. I don't think anything larger than 5" will fit in our visors unless you make them larger...ie...custom visors and they will hang down a bit when they are down.
