Picked up a used set of Alpine Type-R speakers expecting to run them off the Alpine 9857 unit I have but after using the search option, I think I should be using an amp to power them. Trying to stay with the same brand Alpine and low cost. What model amp is suitable to power these speakers. I dont think ill get a sub since the car is my daily and i need all the space the trunk has to offer. Should i even put the stock speakers in the back seat? Should I get an amp to power 2 speakers or 4 speakers? Please give me your opinions.
