Question about the stock radio..
Is the stock unit able to power up 4 speakers? or only two? reason I ask is that I upgraded my radio and would like to use the stock one in my daily driver honda. And do the harnesses plug right into a 92-95 civic? thanks for the help.
the stock headunits for all years of USA S2000s support four speakers,
but the early cars had no rear speakers or factory installed wiring for them.
However, I don't believe the harnesses are the same for the 92-95 civic.
Here's a link to a writeup I did earlier on how to do it:

honda change the plug around 97-98 so it will not be a plug and play.
you still could slice the wires one by one to have it working, i never buy reverse harness or clip, i solder them one by one and heat shrink everything.
there's a very good guide on installer doctor.com
the earily S radio is actuall the same radio from the Si, so you can even use the dimmer switch
