Default Question on Alladin Alarm install w/remote start.

I have my Alladin alarm left over from my MR2 and I was wanting to get it put in my S2000. It has the option for remote start (for M/T) and I want to have it put in. I loved having this feature in my MR2 and before I hear someone say "you cant use remote start in a m/t due to safety hazards", yes you can. I used it in my MR2 and it was m/t also. It will not start unless teh car is in neutral. The car will not shut off unless it is in neutral.

My question is, how would you install it to run with the push button start? I havent taken possession of my S so I dont know if you have to actually have the clutch in to start it with a button or what? I would just like to get it installed when I take delivery of it, so any help would be apreciated. TIA

you must open the clutch using a relay when the remote start activated the starter wire. So when the remote start clicks over to starter it will also engage the switch of the clutch to simulate it being pressed. Other than that it's a pretty basic car to do. Unless you have 12v experience I don't know if i'd really suggest doing it, but to each their own.

Theres a starter wire in the kick panel.. u dont gotta worry about the start button..

Also you need a integration bypass kit for the immolbolizer.. Otherwise it wont start since all US s2000 have a chipped key..

As far as wiring it up to the push button there's nothing really to it. You'll find your accessories, 12v, and ignition wires from the actual key cylinder, and you'll find your starter wire from the push to start button.

Agreed, I usssed to work for circuit back in the day, and I know how people are trained, or well lack or training there. He'll probably have some sheet with all the wire colors on it, but make sure he brings a multimeter too
