Default Question for you stereo junkies

I have the Audiobahn Eternal AWES10P subwoofer 900 rms. I'm trying to buy and amp for it and Audiobahn reccommended the A1500HCT 2ohm mono 1000. Could anyone reccommend a different amp that would be comparable but cheaper in price... I'd rather spend under $400.

Thanks for the help,
Jerrianna

Here you go. This would suit you fine. Don't pay attention to that 900wrms. The stock s2000 can only push 700rms or so, and that is considered on the high spectrum. REAL 900rms would rattle the roof out of your car. What you THINK is crazy bass when you hear a car pass by is no more than 300-400rms.

Are you serious about it not putting out more than 700rms? I never heard of that before, why is that?

Is that a decent brand..

I believe he is saying that 700RMS is the limit of the stock S2000 electrical system.

Hmm, I'm not sure thats correct. I knew a guy who had 3 subs in his trunk at one point. I guess if re-wired you could get more??

With an upgraded battery and alternator the sky is the limit.

Just because he had 3 subs doesn't necessarily mean he eclipsed 700rms though.

Dave OCCASIONAL knows what he's talking about, I'd go with his reccomendation.

I was only putting about 150WRMS to my Sub and you could feel it outside the car EASILY. Any more, and I would have had to start chasing down a LOT of rattles.

If its loud enough you can't hear the rattles. I had another set up before but this is a new one. So I had to change alot of stuff around I was pumping a good amount before...

Wut about the Hiphonics amp? never heard of it before.. I really wanted to stick with the audiobahn but didn't want to spend that much.

I have a hifonics amp in my DD and it's been fantastic for 2 years still going strong. The build and sound quality of the amp is great
