Thumbs up Quick question about my radio

I know this isn't a stock AP1 radio, as my grandpa has the same year s2k as me and his radio is completely different. Just curios what year s2k my radio came out of, because im trying to buy an iPod adapter for it. I have no idea as to why someone would put a AP2 radio in an AP1 but I suppose its just user preference. Thanks in advance.

MY04 uses that radio. Don't know what, if any, changes were after.

definitely an ap2 headunit, whats nice about it is that you have the option to play your ipod on it. 00-01 headunits are all black, 02-03 are black/grey, and ap2's have the white aux buttons.

I believe it is either 04 or 05. Starting in 06 the head unit had "XM" or "satellite ready" or something printed on them.
