Radio Harness Needed!? Where to find?
Okay, so after working on my center console area for the last few weeks, I happened to misplace my Radio Harness, the little one, that runs from the main harness to the back of my radio head unit.. I have a Pioneer HU in my car right now, and I believe the previous owner had hardwired some RCA's to the existing OE harness to have it work with the Pioneer or what have you.. but to be honest with you, I am a COMPLETE NOOOOOOB when it comes to Car Audio, etc, etc... like, wow.. I don't know shit..
Anyways, I need to know where I can get another little Radio Harness to plug into the main harness that's currently behind my radio door... I had already bought a generic Honda Harness from a local Stereo instaler, but I'm assuming it's not the correct wiring... I dunno.. like I said.. ME = TOTAL NOOB with Car Stereos.. I just know that the plugs connect fine together..
Can anyone please point me in the right direction where I could possibly buy the correct harness online???
SOMEONE HELP!!!!!! plz?
I need muuuusicks in my carrr!!!!
Thanks in advance everyone..

My apologies.. and thank you for your reply! I really appreciate sort of guiding me where to go.. sorry, but I really don't have much information on the part that I'm looking for... being that the service manual doesn't really tell me much, of what I'm looking for either..
What I'm looking for is, basically the short harness that runs from the main harness behind the radio door, etc. to the back of the deck.
It should consist of a blue multi-row connector (male I believe), and a bunch of wires to run directly to the back of my radio headunit....
I'm basically looking for the pinout on one of these blue connectors, whether it's the Male (the one coming from the main harness behind the dash), or the Female (the one that actually has the leads that connect to the back of my headunit)... I'm just looking for the color/wire designations to what hooks up to what... I have some cheapo generic harness from my local audio shop, that'll fit onto the main Male harness from behind the dash, but doesn't have the correct pinouts to match... so all I'd like to do, is re-arrange the pins on the cheapo generic harness, to match my OE main harness, so that I can have a radio again...
Sorry for the confusion.. but like I said before.. I don't know sh!t about audio..
Thanks for your help and understanding..
I will try and post up pics soon, if I can.. it's sort of out of the question right now for me.. my apologies.

the generic harness you have that plugs into the car should have
most of its wires in the correct location, except they usually lack the
s2000-specific dash switch & mute wires. if you don't have a DCI,
your Pioneer headunit won't work with the dash controls anyway.
a list of the car's harness pinouts is here.
do you have the harness that plugs into the back of the headunit?
if so, the colors are usually standardized, and for the most part
you can just match wire colors when splicing the harness that plugs
into the car to the one that plugs into the headunit.
here's a link to the usual wire colors.
it's possible that Metra or Scosche makes a complete harness with a
'98+ Honda plug on one end and a Pioneer plug on the other...

Lets break this down here and take this one step at a time...
Did someone cut the harness coming from the car?

an older Pioneer... bleh, but I do realize that my hand controls won't work with the Pioneer. This headunit, is the same one I've had installed in the car previously, before losing the little headunit harness...
but anyways, yes, a Pioneer Headunit.. and older one at that, maybe like an '03/04 model maybe..

Ok if that's the one your missing you can call Pioneer and have them ship you one nothing. Or you can call around and see if any of your local shops have an extra one. I k now when I was doing a lot of installs I had a whole bunch of extras. You can also find them on ebay. You can google your headunits model number and add +wiring harness. You shouldn't have to much trouble finding them.
I would check your local shops first. Google the model number and find out the exact year so when you call your local shops you can sound like you know exactly what your talking about. Tell them you need a wiring harness for a Pioneer (model #) headunit wiring harness... tell them you lost your's and need a replacement. Don't pay more than a few dollars for it if they charge you for it.
