There are RCA wires running through my cup holder that were done by the previous owner. What were these possibly used for... or what COULD they be used for?? Thanks

The ends of them are in the cup holder coming from the amp. Does that help?

to connect to a portable music player... with a mic/proprietary line-out --> RCA converters because portable music players dont terminate in RCA

Would it make more sense if they were plugged into the HU?

eh... it would work if he just never used the stereo. an input is an input.... to which input was it going to.

Also It might've been a GPS. That way if the music was playing he could still listen to the directions.
