I just got the PIONEER DEH-P6800MP head unit

I wanted to add rear speakers(behind the seats). Were do i run the speaker wire to the hu?
Any particular size speaker?

behind the seats the 5.25 are good, i have the alpine type-s 5.25... easy install.

or you can get the s-pods

Whats up man. I think I met you one time at a BK on Academy and Airport. Next time I see you make sure you remind me to take a look at that instal on rear speakers. Im thinking of doing one to my S.

were do you run/tap the wires for the hu unit to recive the signal?

 

just tap into the wires from the head unit. the purple and green wires and run them up the center or on the sides.

 

I have an 04 and it has those head rest speakers.

Should i just bypass them and run the speakers in the rear?

Would 6.5's fit in the back?

 

spicyhands: i don't know that much about about head rest speaker, because i have a 01, since i'm using a amp i just run the rca's from the HU to the amp. then amp to rear speaker and front speaker

6.5 will fit, with some cutting... best way to go is 5.25
