I am looking to buy a Digital Voice Recorder for use by my daughter in Medical School. I do not have any experience with them, her old one is a mini-cassette recorder and just does not cut-it any more. I would like to get one of decent quality.
The one I was looking at was a Olympus - Digital Voice Recorder
- USB cable
- 3 Digital File Folders
- Earphone and Microphone Jacks
- Normal & Telescoping Microphone
Price: $79.99
Any comments or recommendation would be greatly appreciate.

I work for a large medical foundation and we started using the Compaq PDAs with digital voice capabilities for dictating patient visit summaries. Buy her lots of memory, she will want to add goodies such as a PDR, Merk Manual etc. Also a nice addition would be a subscription to the New England Journal of Medicine on line service that she can not only access on her PC but also download onto her PDA.

Thanks for all the help. I am to easy, not only did I end up getting her a Compaq PDA but she also got an Olympus - Digital Voice Recorder Model DS 330. I am definately to soft and she is definately spoiled. I guess I will let her pay for her own NE Journal of Medicine.
