Default Recommended Front Speakers

I have been researching the forum extensively. Your input would be appreciated. I plan on installing an Alpine 9833 HU in the very near future WITHOUT an additional amp.

Which brand / model front door speakers would you suggest?

I would like speakers that are clear with with good lows as I don't plan on adding a sub. Infiniti Perfect 6.1??

Thanks!

Hmm.....let me look around. generally, speakers with very high sensitivity are good for your application......90+

No wonder they are so bright.....91db and with an amp to reach full power, they really do hit those eardrums!

I've heard these a couple of times in different cars and they sound very nice for the price.

Polk also have great-sounding components with high efficiency (90-92 dB).

They don't get mentioned here much, but they still put out some quality speakers.

Go to car audio at www.polkaudio.com to browse specs.

Thanks for the info guys! I knew I could rely on you. I didn't realize that Kenwood made such a good speaker. I was initially leaning towards the Infiniti 6000CS but based on your input, perhaps the Kenwood Excelon KFC-XR61P is the way to go.

I have read reviews online and it seems that the Kenwood KFC-XR61P puts out clear sound with decent highs and good base for a woofer.

Thanks again!
