there are 2 plugs on the clutch pedal unplug 1 of them to see which is needed to start the car. ( i forget which one) Once you realize which one it is you can basically ground it out. meaning, just connect the 2 wires in the plug to each other

This is pretty dangerous if you somehow leave your car in gear and then try to remote start it.

If you jump the higher of the two plugs wiring together you will bypass the clutch. You can also run your nuetral safety wire to it or the e brake. There are mutiple other safe ways to do a remote start in your S safely. I do 12 volt for a living so feel free to pm me if you have any questions. I just put a rem start/alarm in my new ap1 a couple days ago.

I just tapped it into the other wire at the switch. But to answer your question, no it isnt safe. They're are plenty of safe ways however to install a remote start in your car. What brand remote start are you using? I personally deal with DEI product on a daily basis and find their manual transmission mode failsafe.

that is correct just grounding the plugs is not safe at all. I too personally work with dei product on a daily basis and have found that using the standard transmission mode on the dei is your best bet no matter how annoying it may be.
