RIAA to force up XM and Sirius prices
If they still have them, now might be a good time to get one of those lifetime contracts for a set fee...
Of course, being a large corporation, they won't even bother trying to find a legal loophole to get out of it when prices are raised, they'll just cancel your "lifetime" contract.

grrr...
the RIAA really pisses me off. before you know it, you'll have to pay licensing fees per CD use, as the player uploads listening data to satellite monitoring stations...
at least gasoline prices have some sort of basis in reality... there's a huge chunk of US refining that's down and not operating now, and the pipelines that supply several portions of the US weren't (maybe still aren't?) operating, so it put a limit on supplies.
there really is a limited amount of refining in this nation.
still, the prices suck.
