I finally got around to snapping some pics of the system I installed almost a year ago. Parts list as follows:

Alpine 9856 w/Ipod fullspeed cable
Modifry DCI
Dynamat in doors and trunk
Stinger wiring, battery terminals, and distribution block
Alpine MRV-F345 amp
Boston Acoustics SL60 6 1/2" components in stock location
WLaurent V2 box with Audiobahn 10" svc sub
Misc. wood, fabric, glue, etc.

I installed the system after I dynamatted the trunk, trunk lid, and doors. I installed a trunk lid liner with carpeting to match the sub box and tiny amp rack, using generic "christmas tree" fasteners in holes I drilled in the trunk lid frame (nerve-racking). The Modifry DCI transmitter does stick out a bit but when you're sitting in the car, you never notice it. I routed the Ipod Fullspeed cable under the center console into the glove compartment and gave it a little rubber o-ring to finish off the hole I drilled.

I think I have only seen one other person install the amp in the location I did. I did this to retain full spare tire functionality, unlike most other setups on here that include a subwoofer. Comments welcome!

hey guys,
Here's another S2K we have just recently completed.
here's another custom box between the seats..only this time its a 10" JLw0 rather than a 8" diamond audio cm3.

We created an armrest to house a concept half-din dvd player here

Also seen here in front of the dvd player is the game port for a fully modded Xbox mounted in the spare tire well.

And here is the monitor

And finally, the amp rack with embedded cross overs and xbox
now this is what i'm talking about!! how much would something like this cost?

Couple pics, nothing crazy. list includes Alpine CDA-9857 headunit, Alpine SPX-177R components (Type X) 6 1/2, and a JL 300/4 amp. I forgot to take pics of my back Lucid pannels. They have some Kenwoods i need to replace in them. All wiring is Stinger. I was able to use 9ft. 4 channel RCA's as well, as i had questioned in here before if they would work. The amp is on brackets we custom made, and welded to the car.

Can you still fit a golf bag in with the WLAURENT enclosure and a 11Ov2 sub?
I know this is an old post, but it brings up a good point. Having my golf bag fit in my car is very important. In fact, it's pretty much the only thing I ever put in the trunk... but I use it for that a lot. I'm finishing up my stereo install tomorrow and will take some pics, but I did a test fit of everything today and my golf bag *just* fits.

Nothing special, and it can certainly look prettier than it does, but I finished the install in less than 3 hours and it sounds 100x better than stock. Most importantly, my golf clubs and spare tire still fit just fine. I didn't take pics of the headunit, but everyone knows what a headunit looks like in an S2K. Here's the sub enclosure area:
