Hi everyone, this is my first post. I am the “caretaker” of my uncles 2003 Honda s2k. I get to drive it quite often and it’s lots of fun. For the longest time it’s had this strange steering issue where the steering randomly gets super resistant or it gets concerningly easy to steer. It’s super inconsistent, unpredictable, and scary to drive on curvy roads. I’m guessing torque sensor?

 

Yes,first thing to try. Read the diy on remove, clean, regrease.
