I think you just miss understood him.... At least I hope I don't think he meant there were speakers on the tranny tunnel... its really not possible, well its possible but then driving the car would be a hugh pain in the neck

wait a minute... you guys are all wrong...

in my car there are four rear speakers (two litttle little speakers and two medium size speakers), four up front (same as the rear but the mediums are a little bigger), and a there's this big one in the trunk....

maybe it's just me but i've got 9 speakers total, and it 's really really loud, and the faster i go the louder it gets... and i think i've got the seats that massage you when you listen to certain types of music, does anyone else's car do this?!

(and depending on budget, desire, etc. 2 speakers may be all you need... IF you get the right speakers)

Here's my car with the Lucid rear panels with Kenwood 5.25 2-way speakers.

All s2000 come with only 2 speakers. They are normally 5.25" speakers in the door towards the bottom. There is also a tweeter mounted on the top of each door.

If you want rear speakers you have three option (as far as i know):
1. www.lucidautomotive.com
These are the lucid rear speakers that replace the back panels behind the seat.
2. S-Pods. Not sure of the site but they install into the headrest of the seat.
3. '04 Headrest speaker system. Also goes into the headrest...obviously.

I personally have the lucid rear panels and they work great for me.
Actually, the S-Pods are installed in the roll bar hoops behind the head rests. There is enough room for 5.25 inexpensive components or better quality 4.5 components. I chose the 4.5 components.
