Im not sure if im posting this in the right thread but I have a 04 s2k and I noticed the 06 I think you can turn on the middle lights only without having to turn on the whole headlights some people call them the Foglights I think... and my 04 the only time it goes on is when I turn on the High beams...is there a way I can do it so only the middle lights turn on without the headlights like the 06 and still turn on with the high beams...idk if this made any sence I hope I explained right...Thanks

 

06 on has DRL's - is that what you are talking about?

 

wow...high beams are your "brights", those are what go on when you push the left hand blinker thing forward, the regular lights, are what goes on when you turn the left part of that stalk two clicks

 

idk what its called...on the 04 i know when u turn on the regular lights then click the highbeams they both stay on...The 06 you can just have the brights on and not the regular headlights..im gonna try to post a pic later on

 

Yes it's called DRL's and only 06+ has it.

I am just not a fan - too many dumb asses drive with nothing but DRL's after dark.

 

I was interested in DRLs a while back as well, but got sidetracked with stereo/amp stuff. This is one of the sites I came across. It's pretty comprehensive and gives detailed instructions on the entire install.
