Default San Diego or SoCal Audio Shop Recommendation (Installer)

I'm assembling a nice audio system and would really appreciate any recommendations for a good and reasonably priced audio system installer in the San Diego region.

The system i'm planning will be something like....

Alpine 7995 HU
JL Audio 300/4 Amp
Polk Ex3560 Component System

JL Audio Stealth Subwoofer (now or maybe later and i'll have them prewire it)

Also Qube's way cool audio control mod (which i'll install myself - I suppose).

So i'm spending over $1000 on equipment. I wonder what a reasonable price is for this level of complexity? How do you judge what a reasonable price is for a particular setup?

I was thinking about Al & Ed's but am reconsidering based on some feedback i've seen on the web. Are there any good shops in San Diego?

Thanks for the input everyone!

Al and eds is a good company depending on which one you go to. I have been with the one in Ontario for 6 years now as a customer. They have worked on all my show cars and I am building my S and they are doing all the fabrication for the system.

Did you already purchase the equipment?

Dave at Mobile Acoustics does one hell of job. He owns a S2K and has done just about everything you can imagine and then some to his S2k. He's probably one of the more qualified people to do audio upgrades to your S2K. Just tell him I sent you and he'll hook you up.

Interesting. Thanks for the advice S2knympho and Dreamcation.

I just bought the JL Audio 300/4.
I already have the Polk Ex3560 Component System.
I've decided on the Alpine CDA-9815 HU.

I'm still debating on whether to go with a Stealth subwoofer and anther amp to power it or maybe a lucid rear speaker setup. I wonder if that would demand another amp or could i get away with the 300/4 amp to power those as well. I have a 2002 s2000 so that would mean i have 6 speakers in the cabin!

YUM!
