Default A short? Wipers and rear window defrost on.

I have an '05 Suzuka with over 36,700 miles. I went out to drive it today and the wipers were on and I couldn't get them to turn off. I finally pulled out the fuse to stop them. Also, the rear window defrost button is lit up and I can't get it to turn off, even after pulling that fuse.

Anyone have any ideas? BTW, I drove it 2 nights ago and it was fine. It's just been sitting in the driveway since then, with no rain.

Oh, it's gotten worse! Now I noticed the top won't go down. The tach and speedo and most of the dash, except for the idiot lights, don't light up. The car will start and the headlights work. I looked for mouse droppings and chewed wires but found no evidence of either. I did put the fuses back in so that's not the cause. My baby's jinxed. I have an appt. at the dealership on Wednesday but I hate to see my baby crippled. Besides, I think it's hard to find an electrical problem.

It does have to be something dumb. It was fine when I drove it last. I just hope it's not at the dealership for long. My friend, Jeff (Hardtopguy), is going to talk to me on the phone tomorrow and see if we can get anywhere with it.

Any chance you caught any of the wires under the dash with your foot?

Any mods to the stereo?

^No. It's stock. I've looked around at the wires and cables and didn't notice anything pulled out.

My S is dead in the water tonight. It didn't even make a click when I tried to start it. I put a battery charger on it so it'll start in the morning when I take it to Robertson's Palmdale Honda. I hope they fix it in one day.
