My stock 6-CD player in the trunk skips if I breathe wrong. It's a real PITA. Anybody have any thoughts about better shock-absorbing insulation, perhaps at the attachment points, or anything else that could be done?

If its skipping that bad take it a dealer and have them take care it.

 

Mine skipped too, tell them, let them order the part, and then go and get it replaced.

Mine skipped too - fixed by changing the set up pins from vertical to horizontal. Idiot dealers installed it w/o changing settings for horizontal install.
