Default Speaker Choice

Sup Fellas

I have a cda 9813 HU 60*4 and I plan to get speakers next. I don't want to spend more than $180 for the pair. What are some good speakers that dont require an amp. Is it better to get tweeters separately or built in the speaker...which one is better? I plan to get a sub in the future.

does anyone know if the db6500/db6501 require an amp

also what is the best place to put the ipod adapter

thank you

I have the polk audio db6501 speakers. They include a 6.5" drivers, tweeters, and a crossover.

Highly recommended!

I just purchased the db6501 component speakers that i have running off of my clarion CD player.

It gets pretty loud and sounds really nice without any amp. My deck is 50+4 and I have not put an amp on the speakers so you can run them fine without any amp.
