Speakers don't work in the cold?
A few months ago I upgraded my factory stereo with an aftermarket headunit, amp, and component speakers in the door.
Well these days when I get in my car in the morning, the woofers in the doors either don't work or work very little. I generally only hear treble until the speakers warm up (15-20 min). When the woofers finally do fire back to life, they generally sound horrible. They crack, pop, and rattle for a few minutes, then eventually go back to sounding fine. The outside temperatures are between 15 and 30 degrees in the morning where I live. The speakers are Focal, so they should be pretty good.
Any idea what's going on here?
