Default Speakers for doors

Wuts up everyone. I got an 02 and i while im sitting here at work i was wondering if anyone knows what the maximum depth of a mid-bass can be to fit in the door. And if anyone knows specifically if the Focal 165k2p will fit?

most of the 6.5" speakers will fit in the door but be aware that the depth we have is only 1 11/16"

I don't know who's right on this one, but Crutchfield has quite a few 6.5" drivers that have a mounting depth of 2.5" and they are listed as a "fit" for the S2k.. but anything over that is listed as incompatible.

Heard the polks momos are drop ins and are good amplified. But most speakers will fit with a baffle made.

I have JL Audio VR600-CSi's in my doors, they are listed as 2.38" mounting depth and I still had to modify the basket to get them to fit.

Yes the 165K2P should fit with an adapter ring like this:

The mounting depth on the 165K2P is 2.8" and the Utopia that I have mounted are2.95"

Here is how to make the adapter rings.
