In response to your question ... never, but that's because I want to SEE what's on stage ... there's often speakers behind me at concerts ... and if all they had on stage was a stack of speakers, I probably wouldn't face the stage at all concerts I go to ...

I think this setup will work, but you have to control the volume for those speakers. It will have to be less than the fronts. A fader, resistors, or separate gain should work.
It'll be like the ambience sound in the cabin!

I thought about doing this, but decided against it for several reasons:
- Too much leakage (ie, bothering other motorists at lights, etc.)
- balance, speaker behind you is too close to ears vs. other 3
- bass, I'd rather feel the it in my back vs. my head
- I might want a SCCA rollbar which could mean replacing the stocks
Probably go with Lucid's setup, seems best all around sound wise.

I have the tweeters flush mounted in the roll bars. The rear woofer es de Lucid. You have to be able to trim the rear volume separate from the front and sub. The rears overpower everything if you don't adjust them right.
