I have been thinking about this for a while, even came up with few ideas will post them on monday. I even bought boards to etch.

 

yea i will be etching my own boards as well. this stuff is alot easier than people think it is.

Any update? How much will you charge to do this to someone else's car?

 

I'm going to get my car out of storage this weekend. I will start fitment, wiring and adjustments. Ill update you guys as soon as I have some more work done. Like I said I wasn't planning on selling these, but I may if enough people are interested. Once I'm complete I'm going to add up my parts involved and figure out how much my time is worth and go from there.

 

Small update on the taillights... Got the prototype boards etched, gonna get the led's in these puppies and work on the resisters and whatnot. Waiting for the full size boards to come in, the final boards will be built in one piece.

 

Definitely a cool project, can't wait to see the outcome

 

Yea it's a side project, im about to paint the car, working on the turbo kit (building a 2" 304SS mainfold myself), getting my wheels refinished and relipped, asm overfenders and a bunch of other little stuff... i need more time in the day.

Ya thats how I feel right now. LOL - Just got my coil pack cover and valve cover back from powdercoat, getting the valve cover hydrodipped and getting the coil pack cover hand painted with a custom mural. Two of the wheel lips get repolished next weekend and the two other new lips should be here sometime next week. Slowly but surely.
