Steering wheel Clock spring? Can it come apart?

Default Steering wheel Clock spring? Can it come apart?
Well I took off my steering wheel and when i did the clock spring fro the SRS system came apart and unraveled. can I just put the spring wires back in and then put everythign back together or did I break it?

you can put it back together, don't know if it will work as normal, in for answers, haven't been brave enough to plug my airbag back in to see if it just pops, lol
