Default Stock Deck AP2 Flashing DISC error

Hello!
I have an AP2 with the stock CD player. Cds will play about 20% of the time, and I just power on and off again to get it working- when it isn't, it is continuously flashing DISC.
Has anyone encountered this problem? I tried to clean out the dust - but don't know what else to try
Thanks!

Did you try disconnecting the battery and resetting it with the radio code?

NOpe - tried it - didnt change anything - sounds similar to 'have you tried turning it off and on again'!

I have had it happen in my 04 accord with in dash 6 disc changer. It happens with old cd's and new cd's. I have blown compressed air in it and it still does it sometimes. I just fight through it, if it works it works, if it don't it don't!
