Thumbs up Stock Tweeter Pod with Componet Tweeter

I recently came into one hell of a deal, and got a set of Focal 165K2P components. The guy had them in a 01, so he just mounted the tweeters on the door. I have an 02, so I want to use the existing tweeter pod. I have seen some people have these components, and I just wondered if you got the tweeter to fit in the stock pod.

Thanks in advance!!

I saw your set up darkknight and the how to faq, but these pods look kinda big. I'll take a pic in a minute, and let you see.

Actually, I remember part of the other problem now. There is now way to snug them down in the pod either!

Ahhh yes those Focal's. Well I could make it work for you but I would be hard for me to explain it....
I take it you don't have the other mounts for it?

I actually molded a set of those into a set of A-Pillers not that long ago.

You could try calling Focal and ask them if you can buy just the other mounting hardware. Should be cheap.

BTW I know the shape is different on each piller but the client wanted them pointed at the driver hence the different angles and shape.

I do have the pods they can fit in, but I haven't checked to see if they would fit inside the stock pod or not.

As for the A-Pillar, you do awesome work, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I really want them in ths stock pods!

Man I wish you lived closer!!!
