Default strongest glue for plastic?

Would appreciate some help here. I broke a panel clip and would like to glue it back on. Any suggestions on which glue to use for this? I'm not sure which glue is strongest for plastic for this application. Basically, I'm looking for the strongest glue that will bond to plastic.

Thanks!

which panel?

there's a good likelihood that it's cheap to replace.

(if it's the panel at the passenger's knees, that panel is roughly $12 including tax at your dealer's parts counter. even cheaper via www.Hardtopguy.com. the clips on that panel seem most commonly broken. i know i've broken a few. )

I don't know which way you were leaning but I hope your plans weren't set in rubber cement...

Check 3M's site...their panel bonding adhesive epoxy will bond about anything.

But its like Almost $25 depending where you get it. Might not be worth it i the panel is cheap.

If not the panel bonding adhesive, Im sure they have something.

You can use a product like 4040 but its cheaper to just buy a new part.

Thanks for all the help guys. Yup, it's the panel at the passenger's knees. I will just order another one, didn't know it was so inexpensive!

Thanks!

heheh, i'm up to 3 broken now... 2 mine, 1 wasn't.
one piece of advice? don't try to remove that panel when it's cold outside. my first one was broken in close to freezing temps.

but then again, i did do like 9 top down while moving mods at SESM in about an hour... and only broke 1 clip off. i felt bad, but i did warn the guy i have like an 85% success rate on that panel.

oh, and btw? who called it? who called the panel?
