A little background. I have a car A/V store here in the Falls.
Tuesday morning just after midnight I get a call from ADT saying
that I have an alarm going off at my store. Other than ADT, I have seperate secuirity cameras that I can pull up via internet. So, I immediatley pull up
my security cams and see a broken window and
these 2 kids running away with product outside my store.
Do a little DVR rewinding and they both walked right past one of my cameras
and looked right at it. So I had two good mug shots of both of these little punks.
Switched back to live video and the Police were already there.
So when I get to the store and start to look over the place I fully realized how stupid these two were. They stole 1 Clarion amp, 1 Punch amp, 3 alarms, and 4 sets of RCA's. They walked past anything of real value. I had 6 sets of Focal seperates sitting out, 3 Lowrance navi's, a set of Boston Pro 60's and about 5 10 and 12" G5's. The window they broke cost more then the stuff they stole. So I give them the print outs from my video and deal with the Police report stuff for about 20min or so when they tell me they have a "suspect car" pulled over. About 10 minutes later they tell me they have the guys and all of our stuff was in the trunk of the kids car. THEY HID IN THE ALLEY BEHIND MY STORE!! with 5 Squads in front of the place they didnt leave. An Officer on foot walked behind our store and found them sitting in the car. Like i said stupid

Back on topic: sorry about your window but i bet you feel good purchasing all the alarm stuff now. must have been kinda cool to be able to see it actually go down from your computer.

 

Kids these days. I blame television. They don't spend the time to read and research. Glad they got caught!

 

On the contrary i think the reason they rob a store is beacause they DO read and research! After learning all the things i have about audio equipment and how expensive it is especially for a 16 year old i can't blame them to resort too robbing as the only way to get some of the stuff they want. but they should've atleast stolen soemthing worth while =). Kidding of course beacuase stealing is wrong.

 

Maybe they had it all planned out what they were going to steal so it wouldn't be grand theft. Just a thought.

 

I blame rap music.

 

It goes much further back.... this insidious music kids listen to today! I blame Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and The Beatles.


What idiots! At least they got caught!
