DISCLAIMER: I am by no means an audiophile of any sort, I just wanted some more bass for my wub wub music

I just got done installing this sub in my s2k and I am very happy.

My purchase experience with that company was ideal and their shipping and product quality are top rate. The box is listed on their site for about $50 and the shipping is $35. So for about $85 you get a really nice box with any size speaker hole you want. I ordered mine for a 10" square sub. I wanted a square sub after I tried out several different subs at the local audio shop.

The Pyle PLSQ10D can be had for around $45 shipped from Amazon.com. I don't think it's as good as the kicker offerings, but it sounds great to me for $45. If this one ever gives up, I'll drop some money on a higher end sub like the kicker l5.

The amp I am used is a mtx TN250-1. It's a Class D MONO amp with a 400 watt rating. I found mine on ebay.com for about $70 shipped

Overall, I'm very happy with all of the products and the sound I am getting. I have my soft top tray removed and the trunk carpet trimmed. The front speakers are infiniti kappa and the head unit is a sony xplod cheapo. I ordered some sound deadening material to line the trunk and door panels with. I think this will complete my sounds system for a while.
