Default Subwoofer

Hi guys... so i'm gonna go out to buy a sub today, and i need to know which of the three i should get. Now i must tell you that the sub will be installed in a custom enclosure that goes where the tool kit was. I did the box already now i just have to get the sub.

I have these 3 models:

ID12 v.3 D4 IDQ12 D2 v.2 IDQ12 D4 v.2

The difference between the last two is that one is dual 2 ohm and the other is dual 4 ohm... what is the difference??

As far as v.3 goes.. it requires a minimum of .88 cubic feet of free space.. now i don't know if i have that much.. i definitely have .55 which is what the v.2 requires... Should i get v.2 to be safe? Or get v.3 which has better specs and is the new model?

I'm a little confused.. if you want to check out the specs, please clikc on the following link...

Please help me out guys,, i need to buy this today,

Thanks a lot, You guys are amazing,

Dave

I think you should go ahead and measure it. It's easy. Find something premeasured like an container, fill if with something you could clean up easily and is small enought o be accurate for measuring, and then see how many fit in the box.

id and idq are different model subs. the idq is a mid line sub from them. id is the entry level, idq is mid level and idmax is the top of the line.

they are all new models.

hope this helps.

Get the IDQ. The D4 vs D2 will depend on your amp. Without knowing your amp specs, we can't answer that for you.
