Subwoofer not working
My sub (Alphasonik PSW608) isn't working, I've checked the connections at both the amp and the sub, and the wiring and HU settings. I've also pulled the driver out of the box and checked all those connections, they all seem fine. Any suggestions, please?

Are the gains set at 0?
Is the bass on the HU set to -20
is the amp set at low pass?
Did you wire it correctly?
Are the RCAs plugged into the correct place?
since u claimed that u have checked everything, the last resort is to use a multimeter and check all cables that carry a signal, start from the sub and end at the hu. u should find ur problem. dont forget to check the impedence from the sub.
Check the sub itself since you have it out. See if the voice coil area smells burnt - always a possibility.
If it is all back together - apply some voltage to the speaker terminals on the enclosure. You should be able to see cone movement or hear something with as little as a 9VDC battery.
Or - connect it to your home stereo speaker outputs - keep in mind that it is a 2 ohm load and your stereo is typically looking for an 8 ohm load, so dont leave it connected more than a few seconds.
Always a chance that the sub failed, but I would lean more towards the amplifier.

thanks for the replies, I'll check all of the suggested areas.
The amp itself is on and working b/c my front components are also running off of it and they work fine. i'll try hooking it up to my home stereo briefly, if that doesn't do anything I'll try the multimeter. Thanks again

I took it to the local car audio store, they tested it all out and said it's dead. It under warranty from acaraudio, so I'm hoping they'll replace it. I'll let you all know what happens.
I have no idea how it could have just "died." If any of the audio gods know, please chime in.
