Default Suggestions for Sub Box

I'm going to build my own sub box in the tool well of the trunk. I will be using 3/4" MDF, and mounting a 10" Alpine Type R sub (goal is .75 cu. feet).

Any suggestions before I begin?
Should I loosely fill the box with polyfill?
Do I need to seal the seams on the inside of the box with caulking?

This is my first attempt at building a box, so any suggestions would be helpful!

Thanks,

Glenn

read this for detailed info on how to build a sub box. it's long, but well worth it for what you're wanting to know.

this is the page following the one above read this for details on how to carpet the enclosure once you've built it.

here are instructions on fiberglass enclosure fabrication

this link and this link are for advanced box and sub info...

hope this helps. you're probably only going to really be interested in the top two.
