Default temp gauge

i recently bought a temp gauge to stay on my water temps, I just wanted to know if theres a way to wire it into the ems instead of installing the sensor that came with it.
thanks

nope. cant work.

the aem reads off of the oem ECT sensor on the back of the intake mani. and that sends a specific scale, 5-0 volt signal.

your defi gauge has its own scale.

just buy a buddy club 32mm rad hose adapter. it has the 1/8"NP thread port for the sensor.

you could if you have an aluminum rad. but the buddy club adapter is 10x easier and puts the temp sensor closer to the oem one, so it reads almost exactly the same.

yes, ours is 32mm.

as for installing it, just cut your rad hose close to the throttle body. then cut a piece out of the hose that is the same length as the body of the buddy club adapter so that the hose isnt distorted at all. install the adapter. make sure there isnt any coolant coming out of the sensor port, and put a little tflon around the threaded part of the sensor and screw it in. then run your wires, and fill the rad for the coolant that came out durring the process.
